8M Full detail and ceramic coating of hull
This is a R.I.B that had been left in the water a little longer than planned causing heavy growth and barnacles on the hull, the tubes had also become stained and faded in the sunlight.
We first had to remove all the stubborn barnacles with scrappers and wet sanding in the worst affected areas, the hull was then compounded and polished. Finally, the ceramic pro marine was applied to the hull by hand. It was then sprayed on to the engine leg, trim tabs and the propeller. The propeller had three coats of ceramic pro applied to it to give it extra protection against fouling build up and to reduce water resistance.
The Tubes and seats were scrubbed clean before being coated with a UV protection to help stop them fading and cracking in the sun.
